Our handmade and handcarved frames are a work of art.  Each frame is precisely crafted using original designs by our master craftsmen and created to your exact specifications.  Frames can be made to cover any period including contemporary, classical and historical.  We also carry a selection of exclusive Arabic designs and frames specifically crafted for works on paper.

Each piece has its own dedicated group of craftsmen who use age-old frame making techniques.  From the wood base to the gesso, compo and final gilding, Campbell’s uses only the finest materials. 
   
Our frames are handgilded with 22K gold, white gold, silver, bronze or metal leaf.  Other options include colour washes, crackling and veneers.  We also have a range of glass including UV filtered, conservation and museum glass in addition to Denglass, which is the clearest glass available on the market today.

Exciting New Projects

We have been working on some very exciting projects recently.  Special commissions and some very large mirrors.  If you need something very particular, or extra special, you should some see us -- we've got lots of tricks up our sleeves!

This is Maria and Beth seen in a very large bevel mirror (it weights 50kg!).  The frame it will be fitted into is on the left.  It is a truly beautiful frame -- very simple and elegant with Neo-classical details.  We think it is one of the nicest frames we've ever made.
